Travel and Visa
Visas are required for some nationalities to travel to Japan for this conference. Please contact your travel agent or the Japanese Consulate/Embassy in your country/city for exact details on the visa application procedure as soon as possible. Visa processing times can vary.
It is recommended that participants apply for a tourist/conference visa. The organizing committee of SDS may not be able to issue any official letters of invitation for business visa applications due to immigration regulations.
Currency and Banking
The official currency is the Japanese YEN (JPY). Major credit cards are accepted (VISA, MASTER CARD). Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airport, hotels, and banks. The working hours of most foreign exchange centers are from 08:30 to 16:30. You are advised to exchange some JPY in advance for your local transport in Osaka.
Liability and Insurance
The congress secretariat and organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss or damage to private property of the participants. Participants are advised to take their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Weather: The average temperature in Osaka during the period of conference is expected to be 24-31��.

Materials
Materials (ISSN 1996-1944) is an open access journal of related scientific research and technology development. It publishes reviews, regular research papers (articles) and short communications.
