Dr. Qidong You,Professor and Dean of School of Pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical University; Director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Drug Design and Optimization; Head of Druggability Research based on Natural Active Products of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines. He is also Executive Member of Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission, Council Member of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association, Member of International Pharmaceutical Federation. Dr. You obtained his B.S. degree from Nanjing College of Pharmacy and MS degree, Ph.D. degree from Medicinal Chemistry in Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry. During Oct. 1994 to Dec. 1995 he visited University of Strathclyde in UK as a senior visiting scholar. In 1994, he was appointed the position of Professor and in 1996, he was selected as Associate Dean of School of Pharmacy in China Pharmaceutical University.

Dr. You was the recipient of dozens of honors, awards, and citations, including Fok Ying-Tong Excellent Young Teacher Award in 1994, Jiangsu Provincial May 1st Day Labour Medal, Eli Lilly Asia Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award in 2010, 11th Wu Jieping-Paul Janssen Medicine Pharmacy Awards.

Dr. You has served many journals in an editorial capacity. He is Associate editor of the Journal of China Pharmaceutical University, and Member of the editorial board of Journal of Medcinal Chemistry, Chinese Chemical Letters, Chinese Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, International Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Orphan Drugs: Research and Reviews, Chinese Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. Dr. You has also authored many books and textbooks, including Medicinal Chemistry, Chiral Drugs, Chemistry and Biological Action Principle and Application of Asymmetric Synthesis.
