5th Annual World Congress of Smart Materials-2019 was held in Rome, Italy

On the morning of March 6th, 5th Annual World Congress of Smart Materials was held at the Sheraton Medici Park Hotel in Rome, Italy. The conference was hosted by the BIT Congress and supported by the British Engineering and Technology Society. The theme is: Intelligent Upgrading for a Smart Future.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Kari Hjelt, Head of Innovation, Graphene Flagship, Sweden, delivered a speech, Dr. Mei Xiaodan, the Executive Chairman of the conference and President of BIT Group Global Ltd, delivered a speech and announced the opening of the conference. The opening ceremony was hosted by the Royal Academy of Engineering and University of Cambridge Professor Florin Udrea.
In the following theme forum, the National Academy of Engineering, Professor Bantval Jayant Baliga of North Carolina State University, Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Alexander Aseev of the National University of Novosibirsk, Mr. Robert Whitman, Vice President of Corning Optical Communications, and Dr. Kari Hjelt, Head of Innovation, Graphene Flagship gave a wonderful presentation on 鈥淪ilicon Carbide: Power Electronics Smart Materials鈥, 鈥淪emiconductor Nanostructures for Modern Electronics鈥, 鈥淣etwork Impact of Wired and Wireless Convergence鈥, 鈥淕raphite Flagship 鈥 Journey from Lab to Factory Workshop鈥 The speech brought a high-standard technology feast to the guests.
The three-day conference attracted more than 300 experts in the field of smart materials from 35 countries and regions. People gathered in Rome to exchange and share intelligence, the latest achievements in materials research, and around intelligent information communication materials, the application of the field and other more than 40 hot topics.
