About WCORT

The Annual World Congress of Orthopaedics (WCORT), established in 2014, has successfully convened in major cities including Xi'an, Seoul, Taiyuan, Milan, Osaka, Lisbon, and Budapest. Over the years, it has attracted more than 4,100 participants from over 50 countries and regions, establishing itself as a pivotal platform for advancing global orthopaedics knowledge and innovation. Organized this year by the World High Technology Society, WCORT-2026 will unite orthopaedics professionals from around the world. The congress provides an exceptional forum for orthopaedics physicians, clinicians, and researchers to exchange insights across the full spectrum of orthopaedics specialties - from Spine and Joint surgery to Trauma care, Bone Tumor management, Microsurgery, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Foot and Ankle techniques, Sports Medicine, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Orthopaedic Basic Science.

Introduction to Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital of Dalian University

The Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital of Dalian University (former Dalian Railroad Hospital) was established in 1907. It is an A-level hospital at top grade with a land area more than 90,000 square metres and a floor space more than 70,000 square metres, integrated with medical serves, teaching and scientific research. It has established wide cooperation and communication with Dalian University, Dalian Medical University and Zunyi Medical University. It undertakes practice tasks for 4 levels of students including master training in 16 majors. Department of Osteo Microsurgery, Oncology, Emergency and Vascular are as the key medical specialized section at top grade in Dalian. So far, the hospital has formed a number of key specialized and featured sections at ministry and bureau levels focusing on the bone section and supported by neurosurgery, common surgery, ophthalmic (children ophthalmic), nerve medicine, circulation medicine and incretion section.
