BIT’s 7th Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2014 (ibio-2014), Dalian, China

BIT's 7th Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2014 (ibio-2014), successfully held in Dalian Shangri-La Hotel on April 25-27, 2014. Totally, there were nearly 300 participants from more than 26 countries and areas have attended the ibio-2014.

 

13 selected sessions covered 6 fields including Synthetic Biology (Synbio) toward Innovative Bioprocessing Technologies, Bioenergy Development, Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotech, Food Biotechnology, and Sustainable High Value Chemicals, Biotechnology for Agriculture & Environment Industries, Innovative Biomaterials. ibio-2014 brought together academic professors, industrial leaders, policy makers and investors to share their new research and achievements, warmly discussed and analyzed the sustainability development of Biotechnology. As the platform for exchanging achievements, industrial needs, getting more research opportunities and latest news of renewable energy, the conference has catalyzed the communication and cooperation of experts and scholars for their professional development and relationships.

 

With the great efforts and contributions from all the participants, we believe that the next conference ibio-2015 will be much better and more successful than ibio-2014.

BIT's 6th Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2013 (ibio-2013), successfully held in Nanjing International Expo Center Jinling Convention Center on April 25-27, 2013. Totally, there were nearly 300 participants from more than 30 countries and areas have attended the ibio-2013.


In last 6 years, biotechnology stepped into the “industrial biotechnology”. ibio-2013 never stops her momentum to catch the emerging advances in the white Biotechnology. The informative program this year offered profound knowledge in current progress of Synthetic Biology, Applications of Industrial Microbiology, Enable Bioprocessing Technologies, Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Agriculture Biotechnology and Food Biotechnology. During conference, the participants enjoyed the new ideas, new finding, and new approaches from scientific and clinical leaders, renowned researchers worldwide. Moreover, we carries out series of activities, such as "Innovation Alliance", "Talent Network" and "Project Matchmaking Fair" to provide a platform for administrative departments, research institutions, enterprises and financial institutions to search cooperation.

On July 25-27, 2010, BIT's 3rd Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology (ibio-2010) was held successfully in Dalian, China. With the mission to initiate a sustainable platform for exchanging up-to-the-minute upstream and downstream achievements, industrial needs and research opportunities of industrial biotechnology fields in Asia Pacific Rim. Participants from academic, industrial professionals and key-decision makers delivered the new achievement on their research, together discussed and analysised the development of bio-industry. The conference has promoted the communication of colleagues and collaboration of partners from the upstream to the downstream of industrial biotechnology.
