The Venue
The Green Growth Korea Expo 2016 will be held in Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX).

KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) is Korea’s largest and newest international exhibition and convention venue as well as a joint investment among KOTRA, Gyeonggi provincial government and Goyang-si, which was purpose-built to resolve the issues of event space shortage in Korea and to internationalize Korea’s exhibition industry.

‘KINTEX 1(the 1st venue)’ was opened back in April, 2005 with the total indoor exhibition area of 53,541 ㎡ comprised of 5 exhibition halls. The venue serves as a wonderful place to stage the shows of heavy and large exhibits (5 tons/㎡) or various types of events and meetings. ‘KINTEX 1’ also has about 3,000 ㎡ site for outdoor events and exhibitions and 23 dividable meeting and conference rooms including a multi-functional grand-ballroom for 2,000 people.

 

The role of KINTEX is to serve as a trade marketing business venue for both leading local and overseas companies by attraction and developing world class tradeshows and conventions through its global and domestic marketing activities.

Incheon International Airport (IIA) is the largest airport in South Korea, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Transport between the airport and the KINTEX is quite convenient.

Seoul Station is a major railway station in Seoul, South Korea. The station is served by the Gyeongbu Line, its high-speed counterpart and the Gyeongui Line, with frequent high-speed, express, and local services to various points in South Korea. Different routes can be chosen to arrive KINTEX.
